IV Therapy in Queen Creek, AZ

IV therapy puts fluids and nutrients straight into the bloodstream, which is the fastest way to rehydrate and the most direct way to raise nutrient levels when the gut is not absorbing well or the need is immediate.

You do not have to be an established patient to get an IV here. IV therapy is available by appointment — call the office and the front desk will get you scheduled.

What IV therapy is, and what it is not

An IV drip delivers hydration and selected nutrients through a vein, bypassing digestion entirely. That is the real advantage: absorption is not the limiting factor the way it is with oral supplements, so levels come up faster and more predictably.

What it is not is a treatment for serious illness, and it is not emergency care. If you have chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, or signs of severe dehydration, go to an emergency room, not to us.

It is also not a substitute for figuring out why you feel bad. An IV that helps for three days and then wears off is information — it usually means something underneath has not been addressed yet.

Reasons people book an IV

  • Dehydration — after illness, heat exposure, or a hard weekend
  • Nutrient repletion when labs show a deficiency, or when absorption is poor
  • Immune support at the start of a cold, or before and after travel
  • Recovery after a demanding stretch, athletic or otherwise
  • Support alongside an existing treatment plan, when your doctor recommends it

Arizona summers account for a fair share of it. Between the heat and a long dry season, dehydration is a routine reason patients call.

Not everyone should get an IV. Kidney and heart conditions, some medications, and certain lab findings change the picture, which is why a doctor reviews your history before the first one rather than after.

Why ours is not a drip bar

Plenty of places will sell you a bag of vitamins with a clever name. What we are interested in is whether it is the right thing for you at all.

Before your first IV, one of our doctors reviews your health history, current medications, symptoms, and any recent labs. Sometimes the answer is that an IV makes sense. Sometimes the answer is that low iron, a thyroid problem, poor sleep, or a medication side effect explains what you are feeling, and an IV would just be an expensive afternoon. We would rather tell you that.

Depending on what is going on, IV therapy may be recommended alongside hormone care, nutrition work, regenerative medicine, or acupuncture. Targeted nutrient injections, including B12, are also available when an IV is more than you need.

What the visit is like

You will be seated in a chair with the IV running while a member of the clinical team keeps an eye on you. Most people read, work, or nap. Bring a sweater — infusions can feel cool going in — and eat something beforehand rather than coming in on an empty stomach.

Timing depends on which IV you are getting. Ask the front desk when you book and they will tell you exactly how long to plan for, and what it costs, before you come in.

IV therapy questions

Do I have to be a patient of the clinic to get an IV?

No. IV therapy is available to non-patients by appointment. A doctor still reviews your health history first to make sure it is safe and sensible for you.

Do you take walk-ins?

No — IVs are scheduled. Call (480) 296-6173 and the front desk will find you a time.

How long does it take?

It depends on the IV. Ask when you schedule and the office will give you the exact timing so you can plan your day around it.

What does it cost, and does insurance cover it?

We do not bill insurance. Call the office for current IV pricing — the front desk can quote you before you book.

Will an IV fix my fatigue?

It may help you feel better temporarily. Whether it fixes anything depends on why you are tired. If fatigue has been going on for months, a workup for thyroid, iron, hormones, blood sugar, and sleep will get you further than a series of drips.

Is IV therapy safe for everyone?

No. Kidney disease, heart failure, certain medications, and some lab abnormalities make IV fluids or specific nutrients a poor idea. That is what the review before your first IV is for.
